Be Green™ Program Description

Going green isn’t enough. In order to be green you have to continue to drive your environmental initiatives and further cost reduction.

The Be Green™ program is an energy management solution that monitors your organizations power consumption in buildings that use Powertron Global™ NMR technology.  As a member you receive a full analysis, ROI calculation and electricity consumption for each building in your implementation.  This program helps to identify problems faster and save your organization money by reducing waste. 

As part of the program we monitor and analyze kilowatt consumption for your buildings.  Each period we contact the power companies on your behalf to gain kilowatt usage.  If a building in your portfolio has an abnormal increase in kilowatt consumption, you and/or your property management company is notified immediately.

We measure savings by analyzing the kilowatt consumption and heat load for each location and by comparing the results to prior periods.  Heat load is calculated for each building based on the most accurate weather data available.

Participants get a full report of their environmental impact.  The Be Green™ program is a public relations asset and will allow you to communicate to the world your organization’s commitment to helping the environment.

As part of the Be Green™ program you'll receive the following benefits:

• ROI Analysis: A building by building analysis using heat load and kilowatt consumption that determines your company’s return on investment for your implementation.

• Environmental Savings Report: A full report on the environmental impact and savings created by your company.

• Monitor Electricity Consumption: We will monitor power consumption or kilowatt usage for each building.  Abnormal data will be communicated to you for the appropriate action.

• Press Release: Announce and promote your Be Green™ Certification.

• Benchmark Reports: Receive benchmark reports on how your savings compare to other businesses in the program while remaining confidential.
